Here is the contribution limits for 401(k) accounts in the last few years:
2006
401(k) Contribution Limit: $15,000
Catch-Up Contribution Limit (only for those over 50 years old): $5,000
2005
401(k) Contribution Limit: $14,000
Catch-Up Contribution Limit (only for those over 50 years old): $4,000
2004
401(k) Contribution Limit: $13,000
Catch-Up Contribution Limit (only for those over 50 years old): $3,000
